Automatic T Ceiling Production Line

An EPS sandwich panel production line and an Automatic T Ceiling Production Line serve different manufacturing plans. The EPS line is intended for roof and wall sandwich panels with EPS or Rock wool cores. The T ceiling line forms galvanized steel or aluminum profiles for suspended ceiling systems.

The right choice depends first on the product you plan to sell. Choose the EPS line when your order plan centers on insulated panels. Choose the T ceiling line when your customers need T24 or T32 ceiling grid components and related angle profiles.

What each line makes

The EPS line combines metal strips with an EPS or Rock wool core. Its process includes decoiling, roll forming, core feeding, glue application, infrared heating, edge locking, milling, length confirmation, cutting, and panel collection. It is configured for roof and wall panels with product thickness from 40 to 250 mm and product widths of 1,100 or 1,200 mm.

The Automatic T Ceiling Production Line is arranged around three profile types: main T, cross T, and angle. The main T section uses GI material with a 90 mm width or PPGI material with a 28.6 mm width. The cross T section uses GI material with a 75 mm width or PPGI material with a 28.6 mm width. The angle section accepts widths of 43 mm, 49 mm, and 53 mm, with material thickness from 0.35 to 0.45 mm.

Stated production speed4 to 6 m/min in the line profile parameters, with a 5 to 7 m/min roll-forming rangeMain T: 20 to 30 m/min; cross T: 20 pieces/min at 1,200 mm or 40 pieces/min at 600 mm; angle: 0 to 40 m/min

Forming equipmentBottom-strip roll forming with 14 to 16 steps and a 5.5 kW main power figureMain T: 20 roller stations; cross T: 19 roller stations; angle: 9 roller stations

The speed figures describe different products and process sections, so they should not be treated as a direct productivity ranking. A panel line produces a composite board, while the ceiling line forms narrow profiles and uses separate main T, cross T, and angle sections.

Materials and product planning

Material planning is the clearest dividing line between the two options. The EPS line accepts metal material thickness from 0.27 to 0.8 mm and a maximum material width of 1,250 mm. Its core feed supports EPS and Rock wool. The resulting panels are intended for wall, roof, and cold-storage construction applications.

The T ceiling line is built around profile stock. Its main T, cross T, and angle sections use specified GI, PPGI, or aluminum-compatible material configurations, with each section having its own input width and forming arrangement. This setup fits a buyer planning a ceiling-grid product family instead of a composite insulation panel.

Picture the production floor before ordering. The EPS line profile dimensions are 35 m × 3 m × 2.5 m, while the work-process requirements call for a workshop longer than 60 m, wider than 12 m, and higher than 5.5 m. The T ceiling line lists installation lengths of 17 m for the main T, 10.3 m for the cross T, and 10 m for the angle section. Confirm the required arrangement for the selected sections, then compare it with building access, material storage, and finished-product handling space.

Control, forming, and finishing work

The EPS line uses coordinated stages for composite-panel production. Glue depositing, infrared heating, rib forming, edge locking, and edge milling are integrated with cutting and a finished-panel rack. The control system adjusts panel length and quantity through a touch screen.

The T ceiling line uses dedicated roll-forming sections and servo flying cutting. Its main T and cross T sections list SKD11 die material and CrMov12 roller material with heat treatment at HRC56-58. The angle section uses the same listed die and roller material specifications. These details matter when procurement teams prepare tooling and maintenance questions for profile production.

Which buyer should choose which line?

The EPS sandwich panel production line suits a manufacturer that needs a continuous route from metal-strip feeding and core placement to glued, formed, cut, and collected wall or roof panels. It also fits a plan that includes more than one core option, since the line lists both EPS and Rock wool.

The Automatic T Ceiling Production Line suits a manufacturer building a suspended-ceiling profile range. It is the closer fit when the planned output is main T, cross T, and angle components, and when the buyer needs separate forming and flying-cutting arrangements for those profiles.

Before requesting a quotation, send the supplier your target product drawings, material grades, input widths, panel or profile thicknesses, required output units, workshop layout, and available electrical supply. Those details will determine which line configuration can be evaluated accurately.
